Rosemary Edghill
We?re not given any information on the date of Rosemary Edghill?s birth, although we could guess by the picture attached to her private website? We do know she was born in the Mid-Hudson Valley area and still lives there with her sister, India Edghill, who also writes.
Rosemary Edghill?s actual name is Eluki bas shahar, and Ms. Edghill used that name on some of her earlier books. A prolific writer, Ms. Edghill has not only collaborated with a number of very well-known people (such as Marion Zimmer Bradley) but has written very successful novels on her own. A variety of styles is certainly one of her trademarks ? Ms. Edghill has produced regency romance, science fiction, fantasy novels, and mysteries; the latter including the famous Bast series involving a White Witch crime solver (in New York City for the New York Occult Community).
Rosemary Edghill did NOT attend Vassar, like her sister India ? instead she chose to learn about the world first hand by traveling all over it as a companion. Ms. Edghill was then proficient in layout and pasteup ? until the computer came along. At that time Ms. Edghill decided to become a full time writer, and her first novel was sold to a publisher in 1987.
Rosemary Edghill presently shares her Mid-Hudson Valley home with not only her sister, but seven cats and two King Charles spaniels.
