Jeffery Deaver
Jeffrey Deaver has written copious other novels in addition to The Blue Nowhere, many of them heading the New York Times best seller list. Each book is so well researched you?d swear his familiarity with the subject was his own private major interest, but The Blue Nowhere is actually a very small portion of his erudition. His book The Bone Collector was made into a movie starring Denzel Wahington. He also writes under the name of William Jefferies. His written efforts began when he was only eleven years old, and have since been translated into twenty-five languages.
Mr. Deaver's been nominated four times for the Edgar Award was a nominee for the Anthony Award, plus being a three times recipient of the Ellery Queen Reader's Award for the best short story of the year. In 2001 Jeffery Deaver won the W. H. Smith Thumping Good Read Award for his Lincoln Rhyme novel 'The Empty Chair.' Mr. Deaver has an educational background in Journalism and Law. Born in 1950's Chicago, or rather just outside it, Jeffery Deaver is divorced and has no children - unless you count Gunner, his German Shepherd. Mr. Deaver currently has residences in both the eastern and western United States.
