We're not able to ferret out the information on where or when this author was born, although after at least twenty years in journalism, we can be certain she's not exactly a teenage wonder... Jan Brogan is a native of Clifton, New Jersey, so perhaps she was also born there.
Jan Brogan has aspired to be a writer since first grade (among other preferences such as princess). Jan Brogan currently still maintains a tie to journalism by a part-time job contributing to the Boston Globe, and Ms. Brogan has also had articles in a number of well-known magazines.
Jan Brogan's first novel, 'Final Copy' won the Drood Review of Mystery Editor's Choice Award, and named one of the best eight mysteries published in 2001.
