Lisa Gardner

When Lisa Gardner was born isn't one of the things she tells us, although we can count backwards as well as anybody, and we know she sold her first novel at the age of 20, and graduated (magna cum laude) from the University of Pennsylvania in 1993, clutching a degree in International Relations.

Ms. Gardner is a native of Oregon. She initially began to write romance novels, under the pseudonym Alicia Scott, winning numerous romance awards.

Lisa Gradner then turned to mysteries in 1998 with 'The Perfect Husband'. From there on in it's history. Lisa Gardner has had a number of her novels turned into movies for the big screen, as well as 'At The Midnight Hour' for CBS TV.

When she's not writing, Ms. Gardner enjoys gardening, traveling and hiking. She currently lives in New Hampshire with her husband and several very spoiled pets...
