Chris Grabenstein

Apparently born in Tennessee, we know nothing of Cris Grabenstein's early life until he moved to New York.

Chris Grabenstein wrote many of the familiar ads you see on your TV, writing for top advertising agencies, and 'Tilt A Whirl' is his first venture into the world of mystery novel writing.

Mr. Grabenstein has written screenplays, TV movies, Muppet scripts and who knows what else, all before he began to write the lengthier book - and author James Patterson is probably responsible for that. As Creative Director of a well-known advertising agency, Mr. Patterson had offered a writing aptitude contest, and out of 2,000 participants, Chris Grabenstein was the first one hired.

A member of the Mystery Writers of America, Chris Grabenstein currently lives in Manhattan with his wife Jennifer, a cat and a dog.
