Marcia Muller

Marcia Muller lives in northern California and is married to another well-known mystery writer, Bill Pronzini, with at least one book written in collaboration with him. However, she's a beloved mystery writer in her own right, with a number of novels and short stories to her credit. Her book, Wolf In The Shadows won her the Anthony Boucher Award, and she's also the recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Private Eye Writers of America. Ms. Muller has been named the Mother of the Modern Female Sleuth with her introduction of protagonist Sharon McCone over two decades ago, and both are still going strong!
In April 2005, Marcia Muller recived the Mystery Writers of America Grand Master Award - their highest accolade.
