Known only to us as a sister-brother writing team, the pseudonym M. J. Zellnik includes Miriam Zellnik, based in Portland Oregon, where she has done freelance writing for a number of publications. Joe Zellnik lives in New York City and is a composer-lyricist-playwright there, with his accomplishments performed both in New York and London.

From both the Atlantic and Pacific coasts this sister and brother team come together to write a murder-mystery series about a young Jewish woman living in Portland during 1894.
