Dorothy Cannell
Dorothy Cannell was born in Nottingham, England, and traveled to the USA in 1963. Here she met Julian Cannell, and they were married in 1964. Ms. Cannell is talented in another area in addition to writing - she is also an interior decorator, and her husband is both writer and a chef.
Published in 1999, The Trouble With Harriet was Dorothy Cannell?s tenth mystery novel. Ms. Cannell has also written successful short stories, and is an Agatha Award nominee for her book, The Widows Club. Her enchanting mysteries featuring Ellie Haskell began with The Thin Woman, with the most recent book before this one being The Spring Cleaning Murders. Dorothy Cannell formerly lived in England herself; and to our rather incomplete knowledge, she now resides here in Peoria, Illinois.
