Michael Connelly
Michael Connelly was born on July 21st, 1956, but we don't know where, and know nothing of his childhood years.
Mr. Connelly holds a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism from the University of Florida. Following his graduation in 1980, Michael Connelly worked for the newspapers at Daytona Beach and Fort Lauderdale - both in the same state
Michael Connelly is probably best known for his fictional crime books featuring his protagonist 'Harry' Bosch, named initially Hieronymus after the Dutch painter.
Mr. Connelly's first book, also starring the above LAPD detective character, was 'The Blue Echo', which won the Mystery Writers of America Edgar Award in 1992.
Not included in the Bosch series, his novel 'Blood Work' was made into a movie by Clint Eastwood in 2006. Other works of Mr. Connelly have been featured on TV.
Michael Connelly lives with his family in Florida.
