Dorothy Bodoin

Dorothy Bodoin was born in Michigan, where she still lives - and her parents were responsible for providing her with both her love of books and the confidence of her abilities.

Ms. Bodoin worked as a stenographer for the Chrysler Corporation after graduating from high school, and while with them, spent time in Italy, vacationing in other parts of Europe.

Dorothy Bodoin then attended the University of Oakland in Rochester, Michigan, majoring in English. Ms. Bodoin graduated from that university with both a Bachelor's and Master's degree in English and American literature, and taught English in high school.

Ms. Bodoin then left her position as a teacher and started writing full time. Dorothy Bodoin writes gothic romance novels and 'cozy' murder mysteries. She is a member of Sisters in Crime and the GothRom Chapter of Romance Writers of America.

Dorothy Bodoin currently lives in Royal Oak, Michigan, with her collie dog, Holly and her favorite books, including her own.
