Deb Baker
Deb Baker was born on a cold March day in 1953 at Escanaba, Michigan, where she grew up among the surrounding Swedish and Finnish neighbors.
Ms. Baker attended the University of Wisconsin, and after majoring in engineering, architecture and education she finally came out with a degree in English. A late bloomer, Deb Baker finally obtained her degree when she was forty-five years old.
Deb Baker has published short stories and her first novel not only won the Authorlink contest she entered, but also became the Best in Show.
Me. Baker is a member of Sisters in Crime, Mystery Writers of America, and also the International Sled Dog Association. She lives with her husband and two teenagers in North Lake, Wisconsin, with two dogs and two cats.
