We do not have any information on the birth date or place where Jane K. Cleland was born. We do know she holds a B.A. in communications from the University of Denver and an MBA in Marketing and Management from Babson's College in Wellesley, Massachusetts.

Ms. Cleland has already made a name for herself in the business world. In addition to once owning and operating a very successful store dealing in antiques and rare books in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, Jane is a motivational speaker, curriculum developer, corporate trainer and facilitator, and has published non-fictional books as well as her fictional mystery novel writing.

Her first fiction effort, released in April 2006 by St. Martins Minotaur, is a prime example of her abilities in communication and teaching - or perhaps I should say delivering information unobtrusively. You get to learn a great deal about the antique business.

Jane Cleland has been involved in a number of business presentations in addition to her books - videos and articles for professional journals. She also offers two presentations dealing with art stolen from Jews by the Nazis.

Ms. Cleland currently lives with her husband (and four cats) in New York City.
