Alan Cook

Trying to get info about Alan Cook is like looking for a single blade of grass in a lawn of 20 acres - there are a good many Alan Cooks out there on the web, but very few of them are the one we're looking for! So we don't know when or where he was born. Nor are we privvy to his early life.

All we do know about our author is that he spent 25 years as a pioneer in the computer industry, however, we're still in the dark as to his pioneering just what part of the computer field. Writing is Mr. Cook's second career, and evidently he's good at it.

Alan Cook has written and published a number of books, both fiction and non-fiction, the latter being primarily about another of his passions, which is walking (hiking?). Freedom - especially personal frreedon - is still another subject of his non-fiction writing. Fictional books include a series on his featured character, Lillian Morgan, exploring the realm of retirement communities.

Alan Cook currently lives with his wife Bonny, in Palos Verdes, California.
