John Connolly

John Connolly was born in Dublin, Ireland in 1968.

Mr. Connolly has worked as a journalist,bartender, local government official, a waiter and a gofer at Harrod's Department Store in London.

John Connolly studied English at Trinity College, Dublin, and Journalism at Dublin City University. Mr. Connolly then spent five years contributing freelance to the Irish Times Newspaper, where he continues to send articles.

John Connolly is probably best known for his series featuring the protagonist Charlie Parker, which combines murder-mystery with fantasy and the supernatural in a unique way. Hitting the market with his first published novel in 1999, Mr. Connolly has been going strong ever since.

John Connolly lives primarily in his native Dublin, also visiting the United States, where most of his novels are set.
