Jon P. Bloch currently lives in New Haven, Connecticut, where he is a Professor of Sociology at Southern Connecticut State University. Mr. Bloch has a PhD in Sociology from Indiana University.

In addition to being a college professor and writer, Jon P. Bloch is also a private consultant, a gay activist and adventurer. Mr. Bloch has written a non-fiction book as well as starting his Rick Domino mystery series, featuring a gay gossip columnist and sleuth.
