• 'M' is for Mystery
  Here's a bookstore with all kinds of good stuff. This is where you'll find rare and hard-to-find mystery books, a kid's page, notecards, cups and other mystery merchandise as well as a listing of author events.
• A Guide To Classic Mystery and Detection
  This site is where you'll get a list of 19th century mystery fiction, turn of the century mystery books, plus the Golden Age of mysteries. The site also includes pulp and contemporary mystery fiction.
• Bantam Dell Mystery Books
  A division of Random House, the Bantam Dell imprint publishes mystery books from the likes of John Grisham and Iris Johansen. Here you can join the BD Sneak Peekers - a newsletter with advance information about new titles (covering all genre) with chances to win - and/or the BD Reads with reports and opportunities to review and read books before publication - with prizes yet!
• Catharton
  A site offering mucho other stuff in addition to authors and their books. Mystery authors are there, to be sure, but also other well-known names. Besides a book shop, the site also has lists of directors, T-shirts, music and artists.
• ClueLass
  A comprehensive mystery website with links to mystery authors, mystery book publishers and mystery magazines as well as mystery events, organizations and awards.
• Coffee, Tea and Mystery
  A bookstore in Southern California (Garden Grove) that offers you more than just books, although they guarantee to match any reader with the perfect one for them! In business since 1994, they have all types of mystery fiction and first editions.
• Edward Gorey Bibliography
  This is where you'll find books by Edward Gorey and rare illustrations from books no longer in print, as well as Gorey illustrations from other author's books. Everything ever written or illustrated by this famous mystery artist can be found here, as well as links to other related sites.
• Fantastic Fiction
  Go to this site and click on 'Search' for Charles Addams, or go to the alphabetical list and click on 'A' then find Charles Addams - or click on any other mystery author. Here is a site that offers you access to Charles Addams work - his illustrations as well as his books and cartoons. He's probably most famous for the TV series called 'The Addams Family.' This site also offers many other mystery-related authors especially in the fantasy field.
• Gay Mens Mystery Novels at Powell's
  Gay mystery books for sale at very affordable prices - or shop from the main Powells page for every other type (including lesbian), especially those just released.
• Kate's Mystery Books
  Here's a bookstore in Cambridge, MA, that offers you online purchases - with some already signed by the author. In addition to regular mystery book author signings, Kate's also has a number of famous authors occasionally dropping by such as Robert Parker (Spenser), Linda Barnes, and Sara Paretsky, among others!
• Lady M's Mystery International
  Lady M has reviews, Interviews, and mystery links with an author's spotlight section as well as featured short mystery stories. A good place to discover the latest who dunnit!
• Magic Dragon Multimedia
  A site offering everything possibly related to the mystery genre - authors, magazines, book stores, book titles, games, software, news, movies & TV, publishers, stories and links of all kinds.
• MALICE The Mystery Bookstore
  A great site for mail order mystery paperbacks, which is mostly what you'll find here, and mystery series books. Some reviews, comments and great links.
• Mostly Fiction
  A site offering reviews of all the latest mystery books as well as a number of other genre. For our particular interest, go to 'Mystery and Suspense' on their bookshelves.
  They have chapter excerpts as well as authors and reviews.
• Mystery Authors
  A great site offering diverse and brand new mystery authors and events, with an events calendar. A list of mystery books and authors not yet on our own website.
• Mystery Books Online
  Great online bookstore with everything you can think of for the mystery fan to enjoy: Signed editions, author signings, used as well as new mystery books, vintage and older mysteries, classics in every genre. There's also a newsletter, discussion group, and even gifts. If you want the actual location, they're in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania.
• Mystery Guild
  A place to get your mystery books at reduced prices - a delightful club with a great initial offer. They also have bargain books, gifts, award winners and every type of mystery fiction. When you go to the website click on 'Find Out More.'
• Mystery Ink
  A listing of reviews, author interviews, awards and other pertinent data in the mystery field, including all types from the cozy to the hard-boiled.
• Mystery Net
  The place for mysteries since 1995. Includes mystery books and all other resources, such as games and puzzles, kid's books, social contacts and true crime, plus TV and movie mysteries.
• Mystery One Bookstore
  Here's a site in the midwest that offers discounts not found on either coast, as well as frequent author signings and interviews. They carry most titles still in print and will search for those out of print. This site will ship anywhere UPS delivers. A full service mystery bookstore.
• Overbooked
  Go to genre fiction on the home page and look at the mystery books - but this site has everything else as well. Click on 'Youth' for info on kids books.
• Snoopers - The Mystery Bookstore
  A bookstore to find rare mystery books - a request form - and both new and used paperbacks or hardcovers at reduced prices. They also have readings and signings.
• Spensers Mystery Books
  A site for obtaining your older mystery books (as well as some of the newer ones). Used to be an actual bookstore in Boston, home of Parker's fictional sleuth, Spenser - but no real affiliation! Online ordering and inquiries.
• St. Martins Press/Minotaur Books
  This is a publisher's site - Both St. Martin's and their Minotaur imprint are well-known for murder mystery books. Here you can find their latest publications and even read excerpts from any book before you buy it! They also have links to other places you can get their books as well as associated fun stuff. You're encouraged to subscribe to their monthly newsletter, 'Minotaur Mail' to keep you up-to-date on the mystery scene!
• Stop, You're Killing Me!
  They advertise it as 'A Site To Die For' - both appropriate and inclusive! This is a site where you'll find all the new releases with monthly updates on both new authors and characters. There's a monthly newsletter, archives, and a list of the most frequently used resources. Hardbound or paperback, they cover them all.
• The Grobius Shortling Mystery Novel Site
  Great site with witty comments and lists of all the best mystery books, both old and new. Also includes short stories, comics, spy types, women PI novels, sci-fi and much more...
• The Magnifying Glass
  A site with fun headings: Crime Calendar, Author Booking Sheet, Reading, Writing and Ratiocination, Read 'Em Their Writes, Awards, Criminal Pursuits and even a library! Also a listing of events and conferences.
• Time Warner Bookmark/Mysterious Press
  This is a site offering the latest mystery books published by Time Warner, and if you're interested, go to the main page and find out about the other categories it offers as well. The Hamish MacBeth series by M.C. Beaton is featured.
• Uncle Edgar's Mysteries
  A Chicago site that provides you with reviews of mystery books and more! You may also be interested in visiting the neighboring bookstore alongside which features sci-fi and fantasy. Lists conferences & events, has a newsletter, etc.
• World Of Charles Addams
  This is an Amazon site for the book of Charles Addams cartoons - a literal must for any mystery fan! The book not only has his more famous work but also many you probably haven't seen.
